I had a dream late in the nighI had a dream late in the night Of pearly gates and angels songs In heaven I stood where all is right And everything is forgiven even my wrongs. All around me there was nothing but peace A light of love surrounded me And to all suffering had come to cease But when I looked the only thing I wanted I could not see.
